Net Kitaby in Jerusalem schools through Al Ofoq

for Youth Development and Foundation of Partners in Sustainable Development in
collaboration with Women’s Center in Shu’fat, distributed Net Kitaby devices on
the fifth grade at the primary school of males and females of Shu’fat. This
distribution was as part of the project of “Support school bag” and Net Kitaby
devices in Palestine. The project is funded by Arabic Bank for Economic
development in Africa and managed by the Islamic Bank for development and
implemented by Al Ofoq for youth development.
In addition, Miss Jihad Abu Zuneid, member of
the Palestinian Legislative Council, said about Jerusalem that such initiatives
have a special importance because they target these isolated areas that the occupation
trying to impose not only on the camp, but also on all neighborhoods of
Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine. She also thanked this cooperation which
comes to support the educational process and she praised the role of partner
institutions.
Moreover, CEO of Al Ofoq, Mohammad Al
Fararjah, confirmed the Importance of this project which implemented in
cooperation with the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, he praised on the
support and guidance of Dr.Sabri Saydam who confirmed the Importance of the
idea that opens new horizons for the students into new methodology and
experiences in education keep pace with scientific development. In addition, he praised the fully cooperation
in the implementation of Women’s Center in Shu’fat which benefit the students
of fifth grade and this project will have a positive impact in the near future.
And also he thanked all partners who contributed on the implementation of this project
which is the first step to digitalization of education.
Mr. Nisfat Al khafsh added about the
Foundation of Partners in sustainable development, that this project seeks to
develop the student and open his horizons toward new knowledge. He also added
that it comes within the plans and goals of Al Ofoq which seek to introduce new
models serve students future and the need of the educational process in
Palestine, in collaboration with partner institutions. Then he confirmed that
these devices have been designed to fit the needs of the student with a focus on
interactive programs that benefit them.
Mr. Badir Al Hudhud provided a full and
detailed explanation about this educational device, which he described as it
fits the educational environment. He added that the device has the latest
technologies in its design and has a programs were designed specifically to
blend in with the Palestinian curriculum. In addition, the educational computeris
taking in consideration all technical aspects, in term of design, form and
content that create interaction between the student and the curriculum.
The distribution of these devices is done in
the presence of Mr. Mustafa Muter from the Ministry of Education, Ms. Ruba Asad
and Mr. Ibrahim Suleiman from Al Ofoq Foundation, Mr. Mohammad Mahariq from
Women’s Center in Shu’fat.
